Personal Statement

 

My mindset when I'm working is to always put the story first. When I'm on set I will always be moving and getting things done. I help maintain the set as peaceful as possible and help everywhere I can. I believe that a great project is based on great communication skills and a great crew. Nothing makes me happier that seeing everything come together at the end.

 

Biography

Kennya Rivera is a born and raised puerto rican filmmaker, she also speaks english and spanish. Kennya is a graduate from Full Sail University with a Film Bachelor's degree of Science. Before she started college she graduated from a six year music school called "Libre de Música de San Juan" where she learned how to play trombone, euphonium, tuba, piano and also learned how to sing. Since she was a little girl she has always been in the entertainment environment. Kennya has been dancing since she was two years old thanks to her mom which is a dance instructor. 

 

Kennya is currently living in Los Angeles, CA, working as a a freelance filmmaker, working for her goals and gaining experience. Kennya is experienced both film and digital, she works a lot in the camera departement, grip and electric, as well she works as cinematographer. Photography is also one of her strongest contribution as a worker.
